From the blue sea of Lingshui, Hainan, to the pool waves in Binhai New Area, Tianjin — in the early autumn of 2026, TRUDIVE marched forward as a sponsor alongside two major events.
In Lingshui, Hainan: the inaugural CMAS Mermaid Diving World Cup & 2026 China Mermaid Open. 103 "mermaid" athletes competed under the South China Sea. In Binhai, Tianjin: AIDA 2026 ONE.GAME Freediving Pool Invitational, where athletes set new records in the swimming pool.

On August 28, the inaugural CMAS Mermaid Diving World Cup & 2026 China Mermaid Open (Lingshui Station) kicked off at Hainan Ocean Paradise in Lingshui, Hainan. This is the world’s first Mermaid Diving World Cup, hosted by Confédération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques (CMAS). It boasts unprecedented specifications and scale, setting a new record in the history of mermaid sports.
The competition venue "South Sea Secret Realm" features a huge water body of 18,000 cubic meters. Athletes wearing gorgeous mermaid tails perform rotations, swimming and artistic performances underwater, fully showing the unique charm of strength and beauty of mermaid diving.

As a sponsor of this event, TRUDIVE witnessed the birth of this world’s highest-spec mermaid competition. From junior groups to senior groups, from skill contests to artistic performances, TRUDIVE accompanied every second of the underwater wonder.
Lingshui has a coastline of 118 km. The visibility of the Wuzhizhou Island sea area exceeds 40 meters, with coral coverage up to 65%. It is China’s new calling card as a "global diving resort". TRUDIVE is honoured to write this new chapter together with Lingshui.
On September 5–6, AIDA 2026 ONE.GAME Freediving Pool Invitational · Tianjin Station was held at Taida Water World Swimming Pool, Binhai New Area, Tianjin.
Different from the open blue sea in Lingshui, Tianjin’s contest takes place in a swimming pool. Within a standardized pool environment, athletes take on purer challenges of breath control. STA Static Apnea, DYN Dynamic Apnea with Fins, DNB Dynamic Apnea No Fins, SNF Static No Fins. Every discipline is a precise test of physical limits.

The Tianjin competition is strictly governed under China AIDA certification system. All results become official certified records for athletes. TRUDIVE participated throughout, witnessing the birth of multiple new event records.
Behind every breath-hold and kick in the pool, lies perseverance and the will to challenge. We salute every athlete on the podium, and every diver who gave their all.
From Lingshui to Tianjin, from the South Sea waters to swimming pool waves. At two totally different venues, we felt the same inspiration.
In Lingshui, we watched 103 athletes from 12 countries transform into mermaids, performing high-difficulty skills and artistic shows underwater. Mermaid sports show more people another beauty of diving.
In Tianjin, we watched athletes of all ages and backgrounds set new pool records. Some hit personal bests, some competed for the first time, growing from nervousness to composure. Everyone pushed past their own limits.
These moments reinforce our belief: sponsoring competitions is more than a commercial activity. It is two-way growth for the brand and athletes.
Athletes push their limits in competitions, and we protect them with better gear. Athletes prove the strength of Chinese diving with their results, and we support competitions to go further. This is not one-way output, but mutual witnessing.
When junior athletes from Lingshui stepped onto the World Cup stage for the first time, when the 51+ athletes still broke records in Tianjin pools — we saw the future of Chinese diving. TRUDIVE stands ready to accompany every athlete and witness every milestone of growth.
